Powerful enough to be used as a video or photo light, this extremely versatile, ultra compact self contained light needs to be seen to be believed.

The SOLA 600 is an ultra-compact and light weight dual purpose photo and video light with enough power to offer good general purpose performance. White light Lumen output is 670 lumens on high power, 335 on half power and 175 on quarter power.

There is the added feature of a single RED 200 lumen mode designed to aid digital compact and DSL focusing in low light conditions. As you may know most marine life can-not see light in the red part or the spectrum and the use of the SOLA in red mode allows for a stealthy approach to the subject whilst still being able to focus with digital still systems.

When used with video the RED mode allows for plankton swarm free scanning for subjects on night dives. Simply go to white light when the right subject has been found and enjoy an envelope without the light attracted plankton immediately ruining the shot.

Beam spread is an even 75 degrees with no hotspots and a faded illuminated area edge. Colure temperature is 7100K with a CRI index of 80.

The Sola is supplied with a standard ½ inch Lockline female base socket ready to accept a Lockline or similar arm. Simply unscrew this fixing to fit an Ultralight arm or similar ball joint base.

Three multi-function display LEDs provide info on power output, remaining battery capacity, critical power levels and charge sequence.

A twist lock on the non-penetrating slide control and an  auto heat protect shutdown feature ensures product safety whilst in storage or transport.

The SOLA recharges in 2hrs via a light weight multi volt wall charger and  an external plug in gold plated port on the rear of the light housing. There is no need for the user to open the SOLA600 and there are no control penetrations of the molded housing body.
